Golden Hill Little League is excited to welcome all players to our Fall Baseball League!
The goal of our Fall Sunday league is to provide an off season, baseball home for any and all Golden Hill players. Our Fall Sunday League is built around two concepts :
1. Training & Development : players are able to "play up" in the division that they intend to compete in during the Spring 2024 season. In addition, our Fall League has a development first mindset - allowing players to test out new positions that they may not experience in the Spring. "Winning" is secondary to development during our Fall Season.
2. Flexible Schedule : our Fall League is built with a flexible schedule in mind that allows players to participate in other Fall sports or extra-curricular activities. We understand that many of our GH players participate in flag football, basketball, soccer, Esports, speech & debate, art, etc. during the Fall. And we encourage that, as we want our Golden Hill kids to be as well rounded individuals as possible. This is why our games are only on Sundays & practices are held 1X per week,
Ages Offered : 7U to 14U
Divisions Offered : A, AA, AAA , Majors, & Juniors
Eligibility : While first time players are welcome and encouraged to play in our Fall League, those who 6 years old or younger must have completed Rookie Division in the Spring to be eligible for Fall League.
Fall Season : August 14th to November 20th
Practices : Typically 1x per week, Mon thru Thursday. Managers may also hold an additional player optional practice on Saturdays
Regular Season Games : Each team will get a minimum of 10 regular season games. Games are played on SUNDAYS
Golden Hill Ring Tournaments : AA thru Juniors Divisions will get to participate in a preseason (August) and postseason (November) ring tournament.
Majors & Juniors Division : our Majors & Juniors divisions play in a competitive division against other North Orange County programs. 5 games will be played at FSC & 5 games will be played at other club's home fields
AA & AAA Divisions : Majority of games will be against other Golden Hill teams in your division, but we do introduce some games to neighboring programs to begin a "travel" feel. Home games will be at Unocal & FSC
A Division : As this is a players first experience in pitching & hitting against live kid/coach pitch, we provide a more training & development feel. As such, all games are against other Golden Hill teams and played at Unocal
Price : The cost for each player to participate in our Fall League is $175. This includes all fees associated with facilitating the season including, but not limited to : custom uniforms, fields, games, umpires, baseballs & equipment, tournaments, and insurance.
Registration Deadline : 08/4/23
Refunds : Full refunds minus $20 + SportsEngine processing fees are available until 8/4/23. After this date, no refunds are possible as the league has incurred costs for your anticipated participation.
Fundraising & Sponsors: No fundraising or sponsors are required for the Fall Season
